As my second animatronic I wanted to make it life size accurate, with the help of an already made model and scaling it to the right size on Blender and adding the mechanisms into it.
I didn't just want the outer shell made, so I made the endo skeleton head with the main animatronic functions of blinking and moving eyes, opening jaw, ears and even the eyepatch to open.
I realised there needed to be a neck support, so with one of my broken 3D printers metal frame I hoped that would be enough, however, it did not. There was another problem with the electronics as the outer jaw was quite heavy and was not able to move without a power cut on my laptop. This gave me the understanding for weight distribution and overload on electronics.
